Users in Bangladesh have been experiencing disruptions on Facebook and its messaging service, Messenger, since Friday evening. Reports indicate that users are unable to log in to Facebook, and new posts are not appearing in the news feed. Similarly, Messenger is also facing issues.

A Dhaka user told Prothom Alo, 'After 7 PM, I suddenly noticed that Messenger automatically logged out. Then, upon checking Facebook, I found that I couldn't post, and new posts weren't showing up.'

The cause of the disruption is not yet clear. Meta, the parent company, has not issued any official statement regarding the issue.
