The Election Commission (EC) will publish the final list of polling centres on August 27 for the upcoming local body elections to city corporations, municipalities, union parishads, and upazila parishads. This information was revealed in a letter sent to district election officers signed by EC Senior Assistant Secretary (Election Support-3) Md Rashid Mia.

Preparation and Publication Schedule

The EC has outlined a detailed schedule for the preparation and publication of the final polling centre list. The draft list will be published on August 10, followed by a deadline for submitting claims and objections by August 18. All claims and objections will be disposed of by August 23, leading to the final list's publication on August 27.

Guidelines and Compliance

The letter from the EC emphasizes the importance of complying with the Polling Centre Establishment Guidelines. Authorities are instructed to complete all necessary activities in line with the schedule and submit the final list to the Election Support-3 Wing through the respective regional election officers.
