The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) today announced a budget of Taka 40.046 billion for fiscal year 2026–27. DSCC Administrator Freedom Fighter Md. Abdus Salam unveiled the budget at the Nagar Bhaban auditorium. The budget was approved at the 14th meeting of the DSCC Management Committee on July 26. The original budget for fiscal year 2025–26 was Taka 38.4138 billion, while the revised budget stood at Taka 31.3877 billion.

Including the opening balance, the total projected receipts for FY27 have been set at Taka 40.046 billion. The budget comprises an opening balance of Taka 7.3093 billion, a revenue collection target of Taka 18.1574 billion, and a development income target of Taka 14.5793 billion. On the expenditure side, the budget allocated Taka 15.5968 billion for operational and capital expenditures, Taka 19.0442 billion for development activities, and projects a closing balance of Taka 5.405 billion.
