DMP Provides Security During DNCC Eviction Drive at Kazipara

The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) carried out an eviction drive at the East Kazipara Bus Stand area against illegal encroachments, with tight security provided by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). The operation, which took place at around 11:30 am, aimed to remove tin-sheet fences set up illegally on roads. Regional Executive Officer of DNCC Zone-4 Marufa Begum Neli supervised the operation. Two platoons of uniformed police personnel from the Public Order Management (POM) were deployed to maintain law and order and ensure security throughout the operation. The law and order situation in the area remained normal and peaceful during the drive.

Operation Details

The eviction campaign was conducted through mobile courts, focusing on removing illegal encroachments at the Kazipara Bus Stand area. The operation began at 11:30 am and involved the removal of tin-sheet fences that had been illegally erected on the roads.

Security Measures

To ensure the safety and security of the operation, the DMP deployed two platoons of uniformed police personnel from the Public Order Management (POM). Their presence helped maintain law and order and ensured that the eviction drive proceeded without incident.
