The Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo observed July Martyrs' Day 2026 with a solemn ceremony, honoring martyr Abu Sayeed and all those who sacrificed their lives during the July Mass Uprising. Ambassador Md. Daud Ali pledged the embassy's support for rebuilding the nation in line with the martyrs' aspirations.

Ceremony and Tributes

The ceremony began with a one-minute silence in memory of the martyrs. Messages from the President and the Prime Minister were read out, and the national flag was flown at half-mast as a mark of respect.

Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Daud Ali highlighted the significance of the July Mass Uprising and the sacrifices made by the martyrs.
