The Tejgaon Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 59 individuals in a series of regular anti-crime operations conducted across different crime-prone areas of the capital. The drives were carried out on Monday as part of DMP's ongoing efforts to maintain law and order and curb criminal activities.

Breakdown of Arrests by Police Station

Among those arrested, four were apprehended by Tejgaon Police Station, 11 by Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, 21 by Mohammadpur Police Station, 11 by Adabar Police Station, seven by Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station and five by Hatirjheel Police Station.

Charges and Legal Proceedings

Police said the detainees were arrested on charges of various criminal offences. All of them have been produced before the court for further legal proceedings.
