In the first meeting under Tamim Iqbal's chairmanship, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) directors were assigned various departmental responsibilities. The meeting, which lasted less than an hour, saw Tamim taking charge of the Working and Facilities department. No separate chairman was appointed for the Cricket Operations department, which typically handles national team management; the president usually fulfills this role.
Vice-president Fahim Sinha was assigned the BPL Governing Council and Game Development department. Shaniayan Tanjim became the head of Grounds and High Performance Unit. Rafiqul Islam, who was in charge of Grounds under the previous ad-hoc committee, was appointed as the chairman of the Women's Wing.
Former national team captain Minhajul Abedin was given charge of the Age Group department. Abdul Kaiyum Chowdhury heads the Disciplinary department, Israffil Khosru the Finance department, and Saied Ibrahim Ahmed the Security and Tender and Purchase Committee. Sirajuddin Mohammad Alamgir was assigned the Tournament department.
Yasir Mohammad Faisal chairs the Logistics and Protocol Committee, Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahbub Ahmed Shamim leads the Medical department, and Asif Rabbani heads the Media Committee. Additionally, Moin Uddin Chowdhury was appointed as CCDM, Abdullah Al Fuad as Physically Challenged, Said Bin Zaman as Audit, and Sheikh Mohammad Ruhul Amin as Welfare Committee head.
Mir Shakrul Alam, elected unopposed from Rajshahi, resigned. Out of the remaining 24 directors, 18 were assigned departmental heads. Sarfaraz Ahmed and Mirza Faisal Amin became vice-chairmen of two committees. The remaining four directors—Mizanur Rahman, Shantunu Islam, Shafiqul Alam, and Sakib Ahmed—were not given any roles.
The meeting also formally decided to build a swimming pool for cricketers in Mirpur, install a roof over the gallery at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, and purchase a team bus for the national team.
