Royal Challengers Bengaluru has won the IPL title for the second time, defeating Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets in Ahmedabad. Despite losing the toss and fielding first, Bengaluru restricted Gujarat to 155 runs. Virat Kohli played a pivotal role, scoring an unbeaten 75 off 42 balls. This victory marks another championship for Bengaluru, following their previous win.

Kohli's innings, along with Venkatesh Iyer's 32 off 16 balls, set the foundation for Bengaluru's chase. Although Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, and Krunal Pandya fell early, Kohli ensured the team's victory with a strong partnership with Tim David, who scored 24 off 17 balls. Kohli finished with 9 fours and 3 sixes.

Earlier, Gujarat posted 155 runs for 8 wickets, with Washington Sundar scoring an unbeaten 50 off 37 balls. Bengaluru's Rasikh Salam took 3 wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs.
