Habibur's innings included 13 sixes and 8 fours, culminating in a score of 130 runs off 58 balls before he was caught by Abdullah Al Mamun. This performance also marks the second-highest number of sixes in a List A match, with the record held by Soumya Sarkar with 19 sixes in 2019.
Habibur Rahman had previously set the record for the fastest fifty in List A cricket just six days ago. His aggressive batting continued in this match, though he started cautiously with only 6 runs off the first 9 balls. He reached his fifty in 26 balls and accelerated thereafter, scoring the next fifty in just 19 balls. This remarkable innings not only broke the List A record but also holds the fastest T20 century record among Bangladeshi players, achieved in 35 balls during the Rising Stars Asia Cup last year.
