Brazil's pursuit of a record sixth World Cup title continues as they face Japan in the last 32 on Monday. Four-time champions Germany will play Paraguay, and Morocco will take on the Netherlands in a highly anticipated match.

Brazil vs Japan

Brazil, desperate to win the World Cup again after 24 years, topped their group with Vinicius Junior scoring four goals. Despite being favorites, they are wary of Japan, who defeated them 3-2 in a friendly last October. Coach Carlo Ancelotti emphasized the need for focus and readiness for extra time and penalties.

Germany vs Paraguay

Germany, currently ranked 10th, faces Paraguay at the Gillette Stadium near Boston. This will be Germany's first knockout match since their 2014 final win against Argentina. Despite not being widely seen as contenders, coach Julian Nagelsmann remains focused on winning each game.

Netherlands vs Morocco

The Netherlands and Morocco, ranked eighth and seventh respectively, meet in Monterrey, Mexico. This matchup features talented players from major European leagues, including Dutch-born defender Noussair Mazraoui and forward Ismael Saibari.

Knockout Stages Begin

The knockout stages commenced on Sunday with co-hosts Canada defeating South Africa 1-0 in Los Angeles. Captain Stephen Eustaquio scored the winning goal in injury time, securing Canada's place in the last 16 for the first time. They will face either the Netherlands or Morocco next.
