BIIT Model School and College of Bogura emerged victorious in the Prime Bank School Cricket tournament, defeating Rajshahi Loknath High School by 91 runs in the final held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

BIIT Model School and College of Bogura achieved a significant victory by being crowned champions of the Prime Bank School Cricket tournament. They defeated Rajshahi Loknath High School by 91 runs in the final match held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. This triumph marks a momentous occasion for BIIT, fulfilling a long-held dream for the school.

Exciting Final Match

In the final, BIIT Model School was asked to bat first after losing the toss. They posted a formidable total of 242 before being bowled out. Golam Rasul was the standout performer with a blistering 84 off 53 balls, including four fours and eight sixes. Bayezid Bostami contributed 50 from 73 deliveries, and Tahmid Karim added 48 runs.

Rajshahi Loknath High School, in reply, were dismissed for 151, falling well short of the 243-run target. Captain Sarafat Sadid top-scored with 43, while Abdur Rahman Irfan claimed four wickets to secure BIIT's victory.

Player of the Final

Golam Rasul was named Player of the Final and also finished as the tournament's best player and highest run-scorer with 183 runs. Despite the loss, Rajshahi's Sifat Ali was the tournament's leading wicket-taker with 13 wickets in four matches.

Following the presentation ceremony, players from both teams spent time taking photographs around the iconic Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
