Pre-registration for the Hajj 2027 is now open for Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) citizens who wish to perform Hajj under Bangladesh's Hajj quota. They can undertake the pilgrimage either through government or private arrangements.

To pre-register through the e-Hajj system (www.hajj.gov.bd), NRB citizens must have their Bangladeshi passport, National Identity Card, or birth certificate, a passport-size photograph, a mobile number (WhatsApp), and Bangladesh bank account information. A single bank account may be used for more than one member of the same family.

During pre-registration, applicants must provide NRB information in the e-Hajj system and upload valid proof of residence mentioning the name of the country of residence. The Hajj Package and Guidelines 2027 will be announced shortly.

Interested NRB citizens will have to register by selecting the announced package through the e-Hajj system. The registered pilgrims will have to perform Hajj in accordance with the directives of the Saudi government.

Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam, requires all able-bodied Muslims to perform the pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime. The event attracts millions of pilgrims from around the world to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
