AB Party Chairman Mujibur Rahman Manju announced the formation of 'গণভোটে হ্যাঁ ফোরাম' to implement the July Charter. He stated that nearly 70% of voters supported the charter in the referendum. The forum aims to unite these voters to achieve the charter's goals.
Manju made these remarks at a discussion organized by Bangladesh Student Faction at Madhur Canteen, Dhaka University. The event, titled 'July People's Uprising, Charter, and Referendum Verdict; Experiences and Testimonies of Political Prisoners,' aimed to discuss the July Charter's implementation.
Manju criticized the current government, alleging that it is deviating from the main objectives of the July Charter. He called for full implementation of the charter and urged the government to respect the people's verdict.
Other speakers at the event included NCP's Sargis Alam, Khalid Hasan, Mohammad Prince, Masud Rana Jewel, Akib Hasan, Ahmed Samran, Arnab Husain, Sirajum Monira, and Shamsuzzaman Omi. They emphasized the importance of recognizing the sacrifices made during the July uprising and ensuring the charter's objectives are met.
