RUET and Khwaja Yunus Ali University Forge MoU to Enhance Mechatronics Engineering Cooperation

The Mechatronics Engineering departments of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and Khwaja Yunus Ali University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance academic cooperation, research excellence, and industrial partnerships.

The Mechatronics Engineering (MTE) departments of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and Khwaja Yunus Ali University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing academic cooperation, achieving excellence in research, and increasing innovation and industrial partnership. The signing ceremony took place in the conference room of the Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at RUET. The agreement was signed by Associate Professor Md. Firoz Ali on behalf of RUET and Assistant Professor Sumaiya Shahria on behalf of Khwaja Yunus Ali University.

Following the ceremony, representatives from both universities expressed their commitment to bringing the Mechatronics Engineering departments of all engineering universities in Bangladesh under one umbrella. This initiative is expected to benefit students and bring about a qualitative change in education and research.

Key officials present at the event included Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of RUET, Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, Director of IQAC Professor Dr. Md. Imdadul Haque, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering of Khwaja Yunus Ali University Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahed Akand, and Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Science Professor Dr. Fazle Rabbi Shakil Ahmed.

This collaboration is anticipated to foster a more integrated approach to mechatronics engineering education and research in Bangladesh, potentially leading to significant advancements in the field.
