Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) is celebrating its 18th anniversary, with preparations for 'University Day' underway. The university, established on 30 acres of reclaimed land, has grown significantly since its inception with 180 students to now hosting approximately 6,000 students across 21 departments under five faculties. The campus features notable landmarks such as Swadhinata Chattar, Shahid Minar, Muktamancha, and Ananda Sarobar Lake, contributing to its aesthetic appeal. PUST has made strides in education, research, and administrative automation, with plans to transition to a 'paperless' system. The university has positively impacted Pabna's economy and the surrounding educational, commercial, and residential environment. Students and faculty are engaged in various extracurricular activities and research, with alumni making significant contributions both nationally and internationally.
