Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Barrister Kayser Kamal today underscored the importance of technology-based training in developing skilled human resources, stating that there is no alternative to technical education and practical skill development to prepare the country's youth for employment. He made these remarks while inaugurating the privately established Skill Institute of Technology (Skill IT) in Bagerhat, expressing hope that the institution would play a significant role in equipping young people with modern technological, language, and job-oriented skills, thereby contributing to strengthening the national economy.

Inauguration of Skill IT

The Deputy Speaker formally inaugurated the institute by unveiling its foundation plaque at a program held at the Latif Master Foundation premises. Speaking as the chief guest, Kayser Kamal said private initiatives like Skill IT would strengthen the country's efforts to build a skilled workforce by providing technology-based training, language education, and practical, employment-oriented skills.

He emphasized that the ultimate goal of politics is to improve people's quality of life, adding that education and technical training are indispensable for producing competent, hardworking, and skilled human resources. Creating employment opportunities for educated unemployed youths through skill-based training would strengthen the national economy and bring positive social change, he added.

Contribution to National Development

The Deputy Speaker also stressed the importance of keeping young people away from drugs and social degradation by engaging them in productive activities. He said modern technology education, innovation, and skill development would enable them to secure employment both at home and abroad.

Paying tribute to the late Abdul Latif Master, he described him as a devoted teacher who made significant contributions to expanding education in the region. He expressed optimism that the institute would contribute to the country's economic, social, and national development by offering scholarships, skill development programs, and international-standard training.
