A three-day Thai trade exhibition titled 'Top Thai Brands 2026' will begin in Dhaka on Thursday, aiming to strengthen trade ties and business cooperation between Bangladesh and Thailand. The event, organized by the Office of Commercial Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy, will be held from July 23 to 25 at the Grand Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon. Commerce Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir is scheduled to inaugurate the exhibition at 1pm on July 23. The fair will remain open to visitors daily from 10am to 8pm.

The exhibition, now in its 21st edition, will feature 57 exhibitors, including leading Thai companies and their Bangladeshi importers and agents. Products on display will span various sectors such as food and beverages, healthcare and wellness, fashion, beauty and cosmetics, building materials, chemicals and lubricants, stationery, and baby and childcare products.

A key attraction of the event will be the Business Matchmaking Sessions, where Thai companies will meet Bangladeshi importers, distributors, entrepreneurs, and potential business partners to explore new commercial opportunities and foster long-term business relationships. The exhibition will also feature Thai cultural performances, Muay Thai demonstrations, fashion shows, raffle draws, and other entertainment activities.

In addition, Pan Pacific Sonargaon will host a Thai Food Festival throughout the event, offering visitors an opportunity to experience authentic Thai cuisine. Anusorn Kautipvittaya, Minister Counsellor (Commercial) at the Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy, highlighted the importance of such trade fairs in strengthening bilateral relations and trade cooperation between the two friendly nations.
