The Bangladeshi government announced measures to stabilize the rising prices of green chilies within the next two to five days. Agriculture Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid stated that the import of green chilies will commence from tomorrow, aiming to boost market supply and bring prices down to a tolerable level.

During a visit to the Shantinagar kitchen market, Rashid explained the government's plan, including reducing import duties on green chilies to facilitate cheaper imports. The market inspection was part of ongoing efforts to monitor and stabilize essential commodity prices.
