Two individuals lost their lives in a road accident on Sherpur-Nalitabari road.

Two persons were killed in a road accident in Sonnyashi Vita area on Sherpur-Nalitabari road under Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur district in the early hours of today. The deceased were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Kamrul Hossain and passenger Shahidul Islam. According to locals and police, the accident occurred when a vehicle hit their auto-rickshaw, resulting in their immediate death. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nalitabari Thana Md Ashrafuzzaman confirmed the incident, stating that the bodies were handed over to their families without autopsy. Legal action will be taken regarding the incident.
