Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 arrested two alleged criminals along with a foreign-made pistol and ammunition during a raid in Harintana area under Labanchara Police Station in Khulna. The arrestees were identified as Md. Shukkur Howlader, 35, of Bhandaria upazila in Pirojpur district, and Md. Imran Khan, 37, a resident of Harintana under Labanchara Police Station.

According to a RAB-6 press release, a special operational team of the elite force conducted the drive at around 1.15 pm based on secret information. During the operation, the team searched Imran Khan's house and recovered a foreign-made pistol, five rounds of live ammunition, and a magazine from his possession.

RAB said a review of police records found that Shukkur Howlader has multiple cases filed against him with Bhandaria Police Station in Pirojpur, while Imran Khan also has several cases registered against him with Batiaghata Police Station in Khulna.
