Police in Rangpur have arrested two individuals accused of stealing motorcycles and recovered two stolen bikes from Bairagiganj Bazar in Mithapukur upazila. The arrests were made following directives from RpMP Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Mabud. Tajhat thana police conducted the operation in Bairagiganj Bazar around 10:45 pm on Wednesday. The accused, Md Dulal, 40, and Md Rakib Mia, both residents of Makimpur village in Pirganj upazila, were apprehended during the drive. Legal proceedings have been initiated, and the suspects were presented before the court, where they were remanded to jail.

Operation Details

The operation was carried out under the supervision of RpMP Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Mabud. Tajhat thana police targeted Bairagiganj Bazar, a known area for motorcycle theft activities. The police team successfully apprehended the suspects and recovered the stolen motorcycles.
