UCB Fintech Limited (Upay), a concern of United Commercial Bank (UCB), has partnered with Kommute (Bangladesh) Limited to provide office-commute services through the Upay App. This collaboration allows Upay customers to access Kommute’s office-commute services and pay ride fares using the Upay Wallet. The partnership will also introduce customer-focused campaigns, discounts, and promotional offers periodically.

Under this partnership, Upay customers will benefit from Kommute’s premium, tech-enabled office commuting and ride-sharing services. Kommute offers scheduled, point-to-point office transportation, designed to help professionals navigate Dhaka's traffic more efficiently. By integrating Kommute’s services with the Upay App, users can now book rides and make payments seamlessly through a single platform.

The agreement was signed by Head of Corporate Sales of Upay, Sajjad Alam, and Managing Director of Kommute, Md Al Amin Sarker, on behalf of their respective organizations. Senior officials from both organizations were also present at the signing ceremony. Sajjad Alam highlighted that the partnership aims to build an ecosystem that simplifies everyday life by combining mobility and digital payments. Al Amin Sarker emphasized that the collaboration will make daily commuting more convenient for customers by merging Kommute’s transport service with Upay’s trusted digital payment experience.
