Local Member of Parliament Dipen Dewan distributed relief assistance on behalf of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to families affected by landslides and floods in Rajasthali upazila of Rangamati district. The distribution took place at the Rajasthali Upazila Model Mosque premises after Dewan assessed the damage in several affected areas.

Relief Distribution Details

The relief distribution program was chaired by Rajasthali Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Yousuf Hasan. Key attendees included Rangamati district BNP Senior Joint Secretary Md. Ali Babar, Rajasthali Upazila BNP President Master Khalilur Rahman Sheikh, District Sramik Dal President Momtaz Mia, and Jiku Kumar Dey, Assistant Organising Secretary of the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Welfare Unity Front.

Government's Rehabilitation Efforts

Speaking at the event, MP Dipen Dewan emphasized the government's commitment to post-flood rehabilitation efforts.
