A mobile court in Rajshahi has sentenced two individuals to 25 days' simple imprisonment following their arrest in an anti-drug operation. The convicted persons, Tutul, 34, and Rohid, 25, both residents of Shekherchak Bihari Bagan area under Boalia Police Station in Rajshahi Metropolitan, were arrested for violating Section 36(5) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2018. They were produced before the mobile court, which is conducted by an Executive Magistrate of the Deputy Commissioner's Office.
Operation and Arrest Details
The arrests were made during an anti-drug operation conducted by Boalia Police on Monday. The operation targeted individuals suspected of involvement in drug-related activities. The two individuals were apprehended and subsequently charged under the Narcotics Control Act.
