The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 2,062 cases for traffic rule violations across the capital. The Traffic Division of DMP conducted a campaign against traffic rule breakers during the last 24 hours and filed these cases. The campaign resulted in the dumping of 524 motor vehicles and towing of 384 vehicles.

Zone-wise Case Filings

The cases were filed across different zones in Dhaka. Specifically, 85 cases were filed under Ramna zone, 153 under Lalbagh, 184 under Motijheel, 533 under Wari, 203 under Tejgaon, 272 under Mirpur, 387 under Uttara, and 245 under Gulshan zone.
