In a series of coordinated operations, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 431 individuals across various areas of the capital and filed 70 cases on Saturday. The arrests spanned multiple divisions and units within the DMP, including Ramna, Lalbagh, Wari, Motijheel, Tejgaon, Mirpur, Gulshan, Uttara, the Detective Branch (DB), and the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit. During these operations, police recovered a foreign-made pistol, two empty magazines, 230 grams of cannabis, 14,142 yaba tablets, 156 grams of heroin, 31 mobile phones, a private car, an old camera, and rescued one victim. Legal proceedings against those arrested are currently underway.
