In a significant operation, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 3,960 Indian mobile phone displays and two bicycles worth approximately Tk 3.17 crore at the Brahmanbaria border. The seizure took place during a drive along the Bijoynagar border in Brahmanbaria. Acting on a tip-off, a patrol team from the Alinagar BOP under the Sarail Battalion (25 BGB) conducted the operation in the Bhagolpur border area.

BGB members subsequently recovered 3,960 mobile phone displays that were concealed inside cartons packed in sacks.
