The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a forecast for light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, across different parts of the country over the next 24 hours. The rain is expected to affect many places in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, with a few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Mymensingh divisions also experiencing the showers. Some areas may see moderately heavy to heavy rainfall.

The BMD warning, which commenced at 9am today, indicates that the day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged. The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur, while the minimum temperature today was 24.6 degrees Celsius in Kumarkhali under the Khulna division.

Residents are advised to stay cautious due to the possibility of temporary gusty winds accompanying the rainfall. The forecast comes as a reminder for people to prepare for potential disruptions in daily activities and to take necessary precautions.

In Dhaka, the sunset today is at 6:43pm, and tomorrow's sunrise is expected at 5:27am. The changing weather conditions are a typical occurrence during this time of the year, often bringing relief from the summer heat but also requiring vigilance against possible weather-related incidents.
