Agriculture Officer Dies in Tragic Noakhali Road Accident

An agriculture officer was tragically killed in a head-on collision on the Chowmuhani-Chamir Munsirhat road in Begumganj upazila.

An agriculture officer was tragically killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle on the Chowmuhani-Chamir Munsirhat road in Begumganj upazila today. The deceased, identified as Md Abdur Rahman alias Suman, 38, son of Abdur Rashid of Sonaimuri upazila, died on the spot. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Begumganj Police Station, Mohammad Shamsuzzaman, confirmed the accident and stated that the truck has been seized and legal proceedings are underway.

The incident occurred when the truck collided head-on with Suman's motorcycle. The impact was severe, resulting in Suman's immediate death. The road, known for its heavy traffic, has seen several accidents in the past, raising concerns about road safety in the area.

Suman was a dedicated agriculture officer, known for his efforts in promoting sustainable farming practices in the region. His sudden death has left his colleagues and the local community in shock and mourning. The police are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident to determine any possible negligence.
