19 Arrested in Dhaka's Jatrabari and Turag Areas for Various Crimes

Police conducted special operations in Jatrabari and Turag, arresting 19 individuals allegedly involved in various crimes.

Police have arrested 19 people in separate operations in the Jatrabari and Turag areas of Dhaka over their alleged involvement in various crimes. According to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Jatrabari Police arrested nine people during raids in crime-prone areas under the police station on Monday. Turag Police arrested 10 others in similar operations carried out the same day. Those arrested include suspects wanted in regular and warrant cases, as well as individuals allegedly involved in various criminal activities. Legal action against the detainees is in process.

The operations were part of ongoing efforts by the DMP to maintain law and order in the capital. Jatrabari and Turag are known to have areas with higher crime rates, prompting increased police vigilance. The arrests are expected to contribute to reducing criminal activities in these regions.
