A teenager died from electrocution while attempting to hang a Brazil flag in Manikganj.

A 17-year-old boy, Faisal Hossain, died from electrocution while attempting to hang a Brazil flag on a mango tree in Bhatbaur, Manikganj Sadar Upazila. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon as Faisal tried to hang the flag near his workplace, Tasnubha Filling Station. He came into contact with a 33 kV electrical wire and was severely injured. He was taken to a local hospital where he was declared dead. Faisal's family has requested an autopsy before taking the body.

Faisal's uncle, Badal Hossain, stated that Faisal was a supporter of Brazil and wanted to hang the flag in celebration of the upcoming World Cup. Sub-inspector (SI) Abdul Mannan of Sadar Thana confirmed the incident and mentioned that the body will be handed over to the family after the necessary procedures.
