Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a drone attack on the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain and a US airbase in Jordan. The IRGC stated that the attacks were in response to US strikes on Iran's southern regions. The IRGC warned of further retaliation if US military aggression continues.

The IRGC claimed that their missiles hit four critical installations at the Jordan airbase, including an F-35 fighter jet hangar and a major command and control center. They described the attack as a significant step in a larger retaliatory campaign targeting 21 US air and naval bases across the Middle East. The IRGC also claimed to have shot down a US MQ-9 drone in Iranian airspace.

Kuwait's military has activated its air defense systems and urged residents to follow security guidelines and obtain information only from official sources.
