South Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police Anant Mittal confirmed the death, stating that the deceased was a Bangladeshi citizen. The Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi has also verified the woman's death, informed by police and hospital sources. The fire occurred on June 4 at the 'Flourish Stay Bed and Breakfast' hotel in the Hauz Rani area, resulting in 21 immediate deaths and several injuries. Last week, a Nigerian national also died from burn injuries, bringing the previous death toll to 22.
