Team Fusion and Team Ignite secured the top spots in their divisions at the HTC Internal Handball Tournament-2026, held at the Shaheed (Captain) M. Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium. Fusion defeated Team Quantum 14-11, while Ignite narrowly beat Team Prime 15-14 in the thrilling finals. The tournament, organized by the Handball Training Centre (HTC), Dhaka, received support from the Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF).
In a closely contested final, Team Fusion managed to outplay Team Quantum with a score of 14-11. Adayan Shams of Team Quantum was recognized as the player of the tournament in the division, and Md. Radman Hasan Khan finished as the top scorer.
Team Ignite edged out Team Prime in an even tighter match, winning 15-14. Afia Adiba of Team Ignite was named the player of the tournament, and Fahim Hossain secured the Top Scorer award.
BHF general secretary Md Salahuddin Ahmed presented the prizes to the winning teams after the final matches. BHF treasurer Khaled Anwar attended as a special guest, adding to the prestige of the event.
The HTC Internal Handball Tournament-2026 showcased the talent and dedication of the participating teams, highlighting the growing interest and skill level in handball within Bangladesh.
