The Bangladesh national women's kabaddi team is set to face Nepal in the opening match of a five-match bilateral series beginning tomorrow at the National Kabaddi Stadium in Dhaka. The series is a crucial preparation for both teams ahead of the upcoming Asian Games in Japan this September.
Match Details and Expectations
Prominent lawyer barrister Zaima Rahman, the daughter of the Prime Minister, will attend the opening match as the Guest of Honour. The Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) launched the series and unveiled the trophy at a press conference held at the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) auditorium today. The federation also announced a 14-member Bangladesh squad with Srabani Mollik as captain.
