The 38th National Age-Group Swimming and Diving Competition begins tomorrow at the Syed Nazrul Islam Swimming Complex in Mirpur, Dhaka. The four-day event, organized by the Bangladesh Swimming Federation (BSF), will feature around 550 swimmers competing in 100 events across five age categories.
Inauguration and Special Guests
State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque is expected to inaugurate the competition as the chief guest. Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, the president of the Bangladesh Swimming Federation and chief of the Bangladesh Navy, will attend the opening ceremony as a special guest.
Competition Details and Prizes
Swimmers will compete in various events, with gold, silver, and bronze medalists receiving cash prizes of Taka 3,000, Taka 2,000, and Taka 1,000 respectively. The competition aims to promote swimming among young athletes and identify potential talent for future national teams.
