Oxford Mission Church, situated in Bogra Road, Barisal, is an ancient church known as Epiphany Church but commonly referred to as Oxford Mission. Despite appearing as a single-story building, its height is equivalent to a five-story structure. Designed in the Greek architectural style, the church features a green grass field, a pond, a school, a library, a hospital, student hostels, a flower garden, and various medicinal plants inside. Construction began in 1903 under the design of Sister Edith and was completed in 1907 under the guidance of Father Strong.
Built on approximately 35 acres of land, the church interior boasts wood carvings and marble floors. It includes a spacious prayer room, a serene and pleasant environment, and rows of palm trees. Adjacent to the church are the Father House and Mother House.
Visitors can explore Oxford Mission Church with permission. The church is open to visitors from morning until 4 PM.
