Today marks Jumatul Bidah, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, which is observed with special significance by the Muslim community. This day signifies the farewell to the month of Ramadan. Muslims worldwide are observing this day with special prayers, including Jummah prayers and supplications for the well-being of the nation, unity, and peace among the Muslim Ummah.
Additionally, the holy night of Shab-e-Qadr was observed last night with great reverence. Muslims engaged in prayers, recitation of the Quran, and Zikr to seek Allah's forgiveness and blessings. Shab-e-Qadr is considered a night of immense virtue, where the Quran was first revealed and is believed to be better than a thousand months of worship.
In Dhaka, the national mosque Baitul Mukarram saw a large number of worshippers performing Jumatul Bidah prayers. Similarly, mosques across the country were filled with devotees seeking Allah's mercy and forgiveness.
