BNP leader Rashed Khan has questioned the sources of income of NCP leaders Nasiruddin Patwari, Sarjis Alam, and Nahid Islam. Speaking at a press conference in Kaliganj, Jhenaidah, he alleged that the main source of income for the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) is extortion. He criticized NCP for its alleged role in the US trade agreement and accused Jamaat-e-Islami of being anti-independence and undemocratic.
Rashed Khan specifically questioned how NCP leaders are funding their activities, including office rent and personal expenses. He also criticized Nasiruddin Patwari for bringing armed cadres during his visit to Jhenaidah and predicted that Patwari would face further humiliation from the public. Additionally, he condemned Jamaat-e-Islami for its historical role and current alliance with NCP, stating that the public would not accept this alliance.
