BNP Secretary General and Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said he is working to fulfill the promises made by the government. He mentioned initiatives like family cards, farmer cards, and canal excavation programs. Fakhrul also highlighted the approval of a public university and medical college in Thakurgaon, and progress towards opening an airport.

Fakhrul expressed gratitude to people of all religions for their support. He urged young people to avoid drug addiction and engage in sports and social movements to build a better future for the new sub-district.

Local BNP leaders also spoke at the event, praising Fakhrul's contributions. Another event is planned to honor Fakhrul for his role in establishing Bhuliya sub-district.
