Mohammad Firoz Mia has been appointed as the Additional Private Secretary (APS) to Dr. Jahed-Ur-Rahman, the Prime Minister's Policy and Strategy Advisor. This appointment was confirmed in an official letter issued by the Prime Minister's Office.
The letter, signed by Shahriar Jamil, Director (Administration) of the Prime Minister's Office, was issued on June 21. It requested the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration to take necessary actions regarding the appointment.
Dr. Jahed-Ur-Rahman expressed his intention to appoint Mohammad Firoz Mia as his APS. Mia, a native of Barpara village in Bandar Thana, Narayanganj, is the son of Mo: Romij Uddin and Firoza Begum.
According to the government order, Mia will be appointed at the highest step of the 9th grade of the National Pay Scale. The appointment will remain effective for the duration of the advisor's term or until his satisfaction.
Copies of the letter were sent to the Private Secretary of the Prime Minister's Principal Secretary, the Personal Officer of the Prime Minister's Policy and Strategy Advisor, and the Personal Officer of the Director General (Administration) for their information.
