Bhasani Janshakti Party has condemned the killing, torture, and forced 'push-ins' of Bangladeshi citizens at the border, calling it a violation of international law, human rights, and neighborly relations. The party urged the government to prevent Indian citizens from entering Bangladesh through 'push-ins'.
At a protest rally held at the National Press Club in Dhaka on Monday, party leaders Sheikh Rafiqul Islam (Bablu) and Kazi M. Nahid spoke out against the practice of 'push-ins' and the killing of Bangladeshi citizens at the border. They called on the government to take immediate action to stop these practices.
Sheikh Rafiqul Islam claimed that since 2000, around 1,200 Bangladeshi citizens have been killed at various borders. Kazi M. Nahid urged the current government to listen to the people and give importance to their opinions.
