Awami League and its allied organizations conducted a flash rally in Rajshahi's Paba Upazila despite the ban on their activities. The rally took place on Tuesday morning in the Naohata municipal area along the Rajshahi-Naogaon highway. A video of the rally has circulated on social media.

Local sources report that the rally began around 6 AM from the Rahman Cold Storage area in Naohata and ended in front of the Rural Electric Office. The entire event lasted between 8 to 9 minutes.

Eyewitnesses noted that most participants wore masks. Leaders and workers from various levels of Awami League, Juba League, Swechchhasebak League, and Chhatra League took part in the rally, chanting various slogans.

This is the first public rally under the Awami League banner in Rajshahi since August 5 last year. Previously, a flash rally by the banned Chhatra League in the Rajshahi metropolitan area led to the arrest of two individuals.

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police spokesperson and Additional Police Commissioner (Media) Mo. Gaziur Rahman stated that the police are aware of the rally by the banned Awami League and Chhatra League. The incident is under investigation, and legal action is being prepared.
