The government has appointed new vice-chancellors for Habiganj Agricultural University, Kishoreganj University, and Netrokona University. The appointments were announced through separate notifications issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Ministry of Education.
New Vice-Chancellors
Prof Dr Md Mozammel Haque of the Department of Food Engineering and Tea Technology at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) has been appointed vice-chancellor of Habiganj Agricultural University under Section 10(1) of the Habiganj Agricultural University Act, 2020.
Prof Dr Md Habibur Rahman of the Department of Zoology at the University of Rajshahi has been appointed vice-chancellor of Kishoreganj University under Section 10(1) of the Kishoreganj University Act, 2020.
Prof Dr Md Khaled Uzzaman of the Institute of Education and Research (IER) at the University of Rajshahi has been appointed vice-chancellor of Netrokona University under Section 10(1) of the Netrokona University Act, 2018 (Amended-2025).
