RAJSHAHI, July 25, 2026 – Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) recently hosted a seminar on Lean Management and Continuous Improvement. The event, organized by the RUET Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) Club, aimed to educate students on preventing waste, improving processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in industrial organizations.

Keynote by Industry Expert

The keynote speaker, Dr. Engr. Moniruddoza Ashir, Continuous Improvement and Digital Transformation Leader at Ontex Hygieneartikel Deutschland GmbH, Germany, detailed the core philosophy of Lean Management. He discussed waste reduction, process efficiency, value addition, and building a culture of continuous improvement. Dr. Ashir also shared his experiences in applying Lean Management in the international manufacturing industry.

Engaging Q&A Session

Following the keynote, a lively question-and-answer session allowed students to inquire about Lean Implementation, Manufacturing Excellence, Digital Transformation, and career development in the industrial sector. Dr. Ashir provided practical insights and guidance based on his extensive experience.
