Following the meeting, Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Atikur Rahman Rumon informed journalists that the budget proposal had been approved by the cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister Tareq Rahman. After receiving the President's signature on the finance bill, Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury will present the budget in the Jatiya Sangsad at 3 PM today.
