The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted rain and thundershowers across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am. Light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are expected in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, and many places in Khulna division. Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur in some areas. Day and night temperatures are likely to fall slightly. In the last 24 hours, Dimla recorded the highest rainfall of 101 millimeters. The highest temperature was 34.2 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi division, while the lowest temperature was 22 degrees Celsius in Sylhet. The sun will set at 6:47 pm today and rise at 5:23 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
