The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind in different parts of the country within the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am. According to a Met office bulletin, rain is expected at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Chattogram division. Additionally, moderately heavy to heavy falls may occur at certain locations across the country. The day temperature is likely to fall slightly, while the night temperature is expected to remain nearly unchanged.
The highest temperature recorded on Wednesday was 35.2 degrees Celsius in Sylhet. Today's minimum temperature is 22.6 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj. Over the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 89 millimeters was recorded in Teknaf. The sun will set at 6.45 pm today and rise at 5.27 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
