In a swift operation, members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) rescued a girl who was allegedly kidnapped recently from the Lakshmipur Chaurasta Police Box area in Rajshahi city. An operational team of RAB's CPSC Company conducted the drive in front of the Lakshmipur Chaurasta Police Box on Monday afternoon and successfully rescued the victim.

The victim was abducted on July 10 at around 8:45 PM when she was returning home with her mother. The incident occurred on the road adjacent to Deshlapara Bil under Damkura Police Station. Md Sakib, 21, and his associates allegedly forcibly took her away.

Following a complaint from the victim's family, a case was filed with Damkura Police Station, prompting RAB-5 to launch a shadow investigation. The rescue operation was a result of this ongoing investigation.

After the rescue, the victim was handed over to Damkura Police Station for necessary legal action. Law enforcement agencies are continuing their operations to arrest the other accused involved in the kidnapping.

The Rapid Action Battalion is known for its efficient handling of critical law enforcement operations, often stepping in to assist local police in high-stakes situations. This rescue underscores the importance of coordinated efforts between different agencies to ensure public safety.
