Sohel received sentences of 10 years of rigorous imprisonment, along with fines of Taka 20,000 each and an additional six months imprisonment in default to pay the fines. Md. Jasim was sentenced to 10 years in prison with a fine of Taka 10,000 and three months imprisonment in default to pay, and three years in prison with another fine of Taka 10,000 and an additional four months of imprisonment for another charge.

All three defendants were absconding at the time of the verdict, prompting the court to issue arrest warrants against them based on the original sentencing order.

Abdur Rahim Swapan and Sohel were arrested from the spot during the raid.
